Oct 2007: Rettig ICC plant branding goes live at Zonhoven |
|
During the course of September 2007 the Zonhoven site in Belgium received fresh Rettig ICC signage. As a result, Zonhoven is the first industrial site within Rettig to present the new Rettig ICC branding and becomes a showcase for the other sites across Europe. Jos Bongers, Rettig ICC Chief Operations Officer, added: "Our new signage clearly expresses that this is a Rettig plant and it also shows the main brands for which products are produced on each site. This is a message which is equally important for all our customers and suppliers as it is for our employees. The project roll out means that all our plants will receive signage based on a coherent and identical concept and it is expected that this project will be completed across all other production and logistic sites by the year-end " As a result of the Pioneer project, the former company-based organisational structure of Rettig ICC has been transformed with effect from April 2007 into a front and back office structure. The front office is composed of the two commercial brand umbrellas, the back office is called Operations whilst central support functions incorporate HR, ICT Finance and R&D. In general, each plant can produce for both brand umbrellas to utilize the size and strength (Platform concept) of Rettig ICC. The independent branding status enables the new back office to identify and capture the purpose, vision and values of Rettig ICC. This signage is the most visible symbol possible of the communication changes taking place across Operations. The new signage will be accompanied in the future by the stationery project. Here, all letter headings, envelopes, and purchase orders, will be adapted to the new back office identity. |
