Meiningen

Meiningen is a 22,000 square metre manufacturing site located in the central easterly province of Thuringia in Germany .

At this site, approximately 50 employees are engaged in the manufacture of tubular column radiators.

Since the turn of the new millenium, management and owners have pioneered the application of “state of the art” 100% laser welding to column radiators.

Significant investments (Euro 7 million) have been made in recent years to increase capacity, production flexibility and improve paint and finish quality.

Originally acquired as a joint-venture, Rettig ultimately took full ownership of the plant at the end of 2004

The Meiningen site is certified to the following quality standards: Manufacturing DIN EN ISO 9001 (2000) , Environmental DIN EN ISO 14001, and product quality DIN EN 442

The D Profile of the Delta Laserline radiator is instantly recognisable and characterised, in differentiation to competitor products, though its smooth finish around the weld joints.

The Meiningen plant supplies products to all corners of Europe and beyond via the two Rettig ICC Brand Umbrellas.
